One Trick Pony

Where I come from, there’s a phrase for people who can only harp on one thing: a one trick pony.

There comes a time when you have to just shut a person off because they get tracked on something and don’t seem to be posting for any reason other than the attention and the opportunity for subtle, repetitive abuse of someone who holds your point of view. The roach from bak-66-75-40-156.bak.rr.com (66.75.40.156) is of this species and has been banned from my blog. I’m not deleting posts, but allowing more of the same thing being said over and over again just isn’t worth the disk space.

Roaches who feel that this is unfair are reminded that the Constitution protects my freedom of association: the information superhighway, like any other public road, is free up to my property line. From that point on, you live by my rules. Disobey them or bore me with repetitious attacks and I lock the site against you.
