I’ve set myself the task of writing down forty words each day on five index cards for the next ten to twenty days. My chief consideration is that the words sound good to me. I’m looking for colors, creatures, plants, verbs, minerals, everyday objects, adjectives, and more.
If you want to help, just jot off a list of words that you like the sound of and include them in the comments.
Here’s what I have so far:
walkingstick | felt | tarragon | evict | alluvial |
horsetail | silicone | flim-flam | ceviché | puce |
silica | jasper | rivulet | fiesta | goldenrod |
pome | sapphire | onyx | mortgage | mustard |
tangerine | aquamarine | freehold | grate | ringtail |
cherimoya | amesthyst | rainbow | gouge | coyote |
aplodontia | indoctrinate | cogitator | mortise | ocelot |
simulate | feldspar | practical | solarize | cerulean |
capture | manroot | omen | granite | cetecean |
mandrake | wattle | iridescent | narwhale | mariposa |
