Reality: Development of the conventional weapons of warfare that chewed off this boy’s arms were approved by Democratic controlled Congresses. I spoke about this in 1992, but no one paid attention because we were celebrating the fact that the Cold War was over and that we would have no further need for our nuclear arsenal.

No matter which of the major parties you vote for, you’re still getting this little boy.

More History: Bill Clinton refused to sign the Landmines Treaty which would have abolished a leading killer of civilians in war and post-war. When Jody Williams won the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize, he didn’t bother to call to congratulate her.

Unless liberals and progressives unite for a new vision and say no to the DLC, Bush will be succeeded by a Democratic Nixon who will give us new My Lais and new child casualties. If you cannot say “No” to the DLC’s takeover of the Democratic Party, then they will assume that you have said “Yes” to this.

Vote your conscience, not your hate.
