So far, the only kitten Ms. Mew has met face to face is Fiona Phosphor. They hissed at each other. For the first time in her life, Virginia saw another cat back down.

Boadicea likes to find a hole or a corner and just sit there (example above). Her taste in literature is mostly good, it seems. Fiona Phosphor comes out and checks every corner for boltholes and then settles herself in the middle of the carpet to sleep.

Right now all three are sleeping: the two kittens in the living room and Ms. Mew next to the kitchen. No one is eating or drinking the special cat milk we’ve given them: excitement is high and they’re burning stored sugar.
