I found the following, angry response to my remarks about the egged-on suicide of Brandon Vedas interesting:

He made the choice. He “pulled the trigger”. He is dead. He has no one to blame but himself. He cannot blame others for his death. He can keep fucking himself in hell for what he did because he made the choice. — Lee

Oh how rich in volcanic masturbation, where lava fountains spout instead of sperm!

This is the dark side of the idea of “choice” as explicated by blind patriots, the individual insanity of denial which spatters pain upon those who make mistakes (except for C-students, coke addicts, draft-dodgers, awols, and business failures who spout Republican values and get elected to high office). Is it only me that sees a attitude and a rhetoric of hate that is not unlike what was used to propel us into the latest Iraq War?

What is the plan? Nuke alcoholics and depressives?
