Jewish Conspiracy?

I agree with Kathryn Cramer that idiots abound in both the major political parties. (And small parties have their share, too.)

Though I condemn the actions of the Sharon Administration in Israel, I have to laugh (with Kathryn) when she speaks of an unnamed Democratic politician who claims “that the Iraq war would be fought to protect Jewish interests” (circa March of this year).

The Israel/Palestine conflict is one of the tapeworms of American politics that takes our focus off things that count much more like universal health care. I support a two state solution and the withdrawal of Israel from all parts of the West Bank. We shouldn’t be financing any government that will not turn land back to the people who live on it.

But give me a break: The Iraq War was part of the Jewish Conspiracy? What happened? Did George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Tony Blair, and the Queen convert?
