I saw the local contingent of the Women in Black standing at the corner of El Toro Road and Moulton Parkway in Laguna Woods today. It relieved me to see them; they are the shadow which will not be heard in the blinding conservative sun patch of Orange County unless —
Someone puts on black and stands there.
They dare to speak what the jingpists don’t want to hear.
War has victims.
Join them. Mourn for the dead. Grieve. Repent. Wear black. Wear sunglasses to balance your vision because without light and shadow you are blind.
Men: honk your horns and wave. Let them know that you saw them and liked what they had to say. Maybe other heads will turn to see what it is all about and start to think.
Stop the unnatural deaths by laceration, the sickle cell anemia cast in iron and steel.
