Harry Potter, Rocky Horror, and Star Bores

Donna started this string of True Confessions and I’ve decided to come out of the comments closet to tell an ugly truth: I have never, ever, read even a dust jacket description of a Harry Potter book.

I must also confess that I have never, ever, seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

My life has not been unmanageable. I get most of the jokes because I have heard them repeated 10,000 times by people who have seen it 10,001 times and think that it represents the pinnacle of Western Civilization.

I shall probably die without ever having seen Rocky Horror. I might read a Harry Potter book some summer if there’s nothing else around. At the present, I have no plans of watching Survivor or Episodes 1 through 3 of Star Bores.

I think I shall survive to a ripe old age and have no regrets about these decisions.
