Hell, Give Me A Chance

There remains a dedicated cadre of film fans who want to give Arnold Schwartzenegger a shot at the governorship. “Why do they keep picking on his every mistake?” they ask. I say “Why don’t they cover the rest of the field instead of Arnold?”

But since the election has been declared to be about giving people a chance at being governor, why the hell not? Why not give me a chance? You won’t find any record of political skullduggery and there are no nude photos or rumors of orgies. Give me a chance at being Governor. If it is good enough for Arnold, it’s good enough for me.

First thing I will do is instruct the state attorney general to investigate Dick Cheney and Enron. Supoenas are being typed up even as I write this.
