Vacation Bound

I will be gone on vacation from Saturday 4 October until Monday 13 October. In the meantime, my blog will be in the care of four good friends: Bill of Prairie Point, Billy of Slowly Going Over the Edge, Beata the DesertViking, and Phoenix a local writer friend. (Mexico City is better served by the net than southern Utah.)

Here are the places we will visit:

• Zion National Park
  
• Capitol Reef National Park
  
• Fremont Indian State Park

Watch for hike reviews and photographs from all these places.

I am bringing notebooks. There will be a trip diary published upon my return.

There’s a trail in there somewhere. A river, too. The trail and the river are the same route. (It’s an aerial photo from Terraserver if you haven’t figured that out yet.)
