Your guess is as good as mine. California has a wretched history when it comes to drawing proper pictures of suspects in prominent criminal cases.
Under California law, if anyone dies as a result of a fire you set — including when the cause of death is stress-related (e.g. heart attack) — you can be convicted of murder. I believe the same holds true in other states. Billy might be able to fill us in on logic of the law.
Two men dropped dead of heart attacks as a result of watching their houses burn to the ground.
That man might be worth $60,000.
