Capitol Reef 1

The Capitol Reef series begins with these petroglyphs and pioneer inscriptions taken within the Capitol Gorge. The hike reporter who did this for Localhikes seems to have attempted this trip in the middle of the summer and didn’t bother to check his map because he missed these petroglyphs entirely. He called the pioneer inscriptions “modern petroglyphs”. Plus his pictures are washed out.
