Weird mud formations that almost look like a miniature Anasazi cliff dwelling. I crawled into this eroded cave — undercut out of the cliff face — after I found it along the Upper Muley Twist Canyon Trail.
You could almost believe that they twisted mules in formations such as this.
This gallery was photographed in Upper Muley Twist Canyon on our way to Saddle Arch. (The arches in this particular gallery are “Peek-a-Boo Rock” and the crablike “Double Arch”.) This day is described here.
