Check this out. I am weighing a new rule. See the comments for the link and then share your opinion with me here.
Here’s a parallel from the Left: A few days ago on Acts of Conscience, a fellow posted a positive comment about the grocery strike happening here in Southern California. The name, the email address, and the URL all pointed to a link promoting the Atkins Diet.
A fellow author deleted it as commercial spam.
How trustworthy are the comments from individuals like william m cooper? I do not doubt that this apartment dweller believes what he says, but what I must ask is does he have other motives like selling his book? And what about the issue of using my comments for his agenda? Is he a hit and run artist who never intends to come back here? Did he just hunt for titles where he might find readers? Does he deserve the same respect as other commentators who regularly visit?
Is this really “comment” on the article or just hubris-fired personal spam? If the latter, does it deserve deletion?
