Self Portrait by Mouse and Scribbler

Posted on February 25, 2004 in Computer Art

I played around with Scribbler tonight, a delightful toy that I found through MEG. I drew the self portrait on the left and then let the program come up with the view on the right.

As I copied off a photograph taken last night after my shower, I kept saying to myself “Remember Betty Edwards. Remember Betty Edwards.”

Though the mouse never went exactly where I would have put the line, I was not unhappy with the result. Is it just me or does the right side give me a D.H. Lawrence look? Or does it make me look more like Stu Savory? (Click on the images for an enlarged view.)

I’d love to see what you produced.
