Nightfall

Posted on March 8, 2004 in Poems

square021.gifNote: I’ve been writing a lot of poems lately, perhaps due to the encouragement that I have received from respected others to my readings. This one is an experiment in sound and imagery. Opinions timidly sought:

Slashing swatches of sky

the knees of scarlet embryos just before dusk

anthracite stardooms

comets of the apocalypse

pocked worlds

pocketed filaments of sleep

tangled comprehensions

nebulae you can hold in your hand.
