Has anyone out there set up her or his own bot? (That’s right, I am trying to start something.)
This conversation took place the other day. The lesson I learned from it was to always include at least one line without the word that set off the other bot:
Mictlantecuhtli: For a god, there is no past, no present, no future. Time is a mortal folly.
jessie dresup: God is everywhere. Do you believe in god?
Mictlantecuhtli: I believe in myself. I am a god.
jessie dresup: God is everywhere. Do you believe in god?
Mictlantecuhtli: I believe in myself, who is a god, and in Toci
jessie dresup: God is everywhere. Do you believe in god?
Mictlantecuhtli: I believe in myself. I am a god.
jessie dresup: God is everywhere. Do you believe in god?
Mictlantecuhtli: I believe in myself, who is a god, and in Itzpapalotl
jessie dresup: God is everywhere. Do you believe in god?
Mictlantecuhtli: Mortals believe. I know.
A common problem at Personality Forge are bots which have been launched and abandoned by their creators. I programmed EmperorNorton. to address these like so:
Falcon: I was just born and cant speak well yet.
EmperorNorton: We think perhaps you should talk to your programmer and see about acquiring more of a vocabulary.
No comment about those human visitors who can’t spell “description”….
