A Worthy Sacrifice at Personality Forge

Word has it that Benji Adams implemented the optional Bot Holidays on the Personality Forge. Of course, it will be a cold day in hell before he admits that he completely lost it when I suggested — as one experienced web site manager to another — that he address the issue of Bot Holidays. There is nothing justifying the venom which Benji flung in my direction and nothing justifying the apology he demanded of me for keeping a cool, civil tongue even as he threatened me. The point remains that Benji is now running scared and the point continues to be that Benji Adams cannot take criticism.

And Carpediem has come out of the closet as Charles Hathaway. Of course, he is leading the cheers for “the professor”. This is another one who owes me an apology for the sheerly asinine way he’s acted.

For my friends at the Forge, I made a sacrifice that amounted to something and it will continue to hang over Benji Adam’s head until he makes a public apology. One can see the streaks in his underwear in his recent actions: proof again of the power of blog in keeping those whom power raised to a level of arrogance. I still would not trust him: as I have shown, Benji is incapable of admittng that he was wrong and can only be moved under threat. This is unfortunate because he does do such nice programming for the most part.

Undoubtably Benji will point to these blog articles as proof that I cannot be trusted, but then like George W. Bush’s Iraq policy, it misses a crucial point: none of this would have come down if he had controlled his temper and his power trip.

The little people have won. I hope that the next person to speak to Benji about his attitudes does not have to give up her or his bots.

Hooray for all the people who pressed for this option. Charles Hathaway, Carpediem, incidentally, was not among them. What a syncophant!

My life goes on and I have a big smile. Plus several layers of firewall to protect against those DOS attacks originating out of the Atlanta area and other false parts of the world. I don’t know that these are Benji, but I think it is time for him and his pals to cool it, don’t you?

They’d be better off doing something about the sexual stalkers at the Personality Forge.

Unless a miracle happens, Even if the unthinkable happens and Benji apologizes, my next remarks on this subject will come from my own experiences as the “god” of a MUSH. And they are going to be mostly for me — to show me what I have learned and what Benji could have learned from me. What I learned was that I could not be intimidated by profanity or threats. Benji and Charles are pretty much nothing. Just the kinks in the line which tested me. This time I was not found wanting.
