Aortal Link – Techfluid

Posted on September 26, 2002 in Aortal

I’ve been a supporter of the InterNet as “folk revolution” as long as I have had an email account (since 1988). Aortal.com is not a network or a portal, but a movement of bloggers who, each week, promote another blog. This is my first contribution to that struggle.

I was hard pressed to choose the first site because I know of so many good ones. Chari happens to be doing me a favor this week so I decided to be slightly vulgar, admit to it, and then go on to praise her as a genuine goddess among bloggers.

Techfluid bears a few resemblances to this one. Like myself, Chari treats her blog as an ongoing letter to the world. Though she codes well and possesses a fine eye, her first concern is to give her readers something readable and truthful. Techfluid exhibits her many moods, giving us glimpses into her work and into her relationship with her shadowy life partner, the Princess.

This is a blog I check every day. She’s playful, funny, introspective, and honest — all qualities which I like in a blog. She also is one of the main contributors to Dykewrite, a collaborative effort of several women with weekly columns by each.

She deserves a better review. She deserves your visit.

Every Thursday, I shall plug a new blog. I’ve got nearly a hundred to go through, so if you don’t see yours, don’t worry. You’re coming!
