That referral that I mentioned last week came in today’s mail. The tone was bureaucratically caustic: “You only have from 13 September to 20 September to get this taken care of.” With my new cardiologist, I had the matter all set up the same morning. What if I hadn’t received this in time? What if Mission Hospital had been all booked up?
Again, I received notice that last Friday’s decision was wise. Medicine shouldn’t be a series of hoops to jump through. The purpose is to work a cure.
