Struggles of an Orthodox Jew in a Divided Land

Posted on October 29, 2004 in Campaign 2004 Myths & Mysticism

square090.gifChristians are not alone in their struggles against the attempts to subvert their religion for the political aims of the Republican Party. Frumdad writes about his frustrations with Orthodox Jews for Bush and gives his reasons why the charedim should vote for Kerry instead of Bush, refusing to be moved by the smaller issues of gay marriage, Iraq, Israel, and abortion. He sets a religious context for the Democratic platform based on the Torah. Jews, Christians, and others should read this very carefully. It is enlightening and unifying.
