In the recent discussion about weight, a commentator pulled the tired old “you are so judgemental” trick out of her hat and made me laugh in memory of an incident that occured when I was first living in Silicon Valley. I was temporarily living with New Agers. One of them had a friend who, like many New Agers, assumed she knew everything about the Universe. I recall one night when we were driving somewhere in a car when this person exclaimed:
“I am so sick and tired of judgemental people. I hate judgemental people. Judgemental people screw up everything in this world.”
Think about that one and you will understand why I had to suppress a laugh.
