Quivering 2

Posted on June 21, 2005 in Psychotropics

square097.gifAt a Peruvian restaurant on Saturday, my hands shook so hard that I could not unwrap the butter they brought with the bread. It got so bad that on Sunday, my head was bouncing about as if my neck were a spring. I had to fight to handle the mouse and my fingers jumped about, striking the wrong keys (which is very upsetting because I am a touch typist) or the air. On Sunday, having discussed this with my psychiatrist last week, I dropped part of my dose of lithium. If I see signs of mania returning, I shall increase the dose briefly.

This unquiet mind, this madness….That is why, dear friends, my writing has been sparse.
