Jackets

square298My friend Diana tells me that a group of bipolars gathered for a tree trimming on Thursday night, just after the news of the shooting of Robert Apilzar played on all the local news stations. The assembled manic-depressives shook their heads at the trigger-happiness of the U.S. Marshals — yet another example of law enforcement excess in the face of their disease. What could they do?

“Well,” someone said. “You know how the FBI, the marshals and all those folks wear special jackets with their department name on the back so that they won’t get shot? Let’s start wearing ones that say BIPOLAR on the back so that when we go running down the aisles of airplanes, they won’t shoot us.”

I bet I could make money selling those….
