No, really. I paid my account balance.
A router somewhere upstream of Glowhost went bad. None of my sites except for notfrisco.com (still at Yahoo Websites but leaving soon), could be reached these last couple of days.
I do want to say that Glowhost kept me informed on developments and never patronized me for asking questions. They also took a step which they didn’t have to take:
In an effort to speed things up we are mirroring all sites affected to another datacenter for redundancy. There is usually a charge for this
service [but they are waiving it for the emergency]….As far as when, again this is entirely as to when the Internet/your local ISP/ local carriers update their DNS. This can either be real time, every 24 hours, every few days, or in the worst case, every week.
