What is my place in Society? As one afflicted by bipolar disorder, the question of “who am I taking my meds for?” comes to mind often. Is the medication a means of making me a thrall, a somambulent worker? (If so, it’s not doing a very good job.) What about those who offer alternatives? Do they have my best interests at heart or is it a con show to keep me ill so they can keep screwing me? Ask yourself these questions. Ask bigger ones, write bigger answers. Whether or not you are afflicted by an organic brain dysfunction, the question is What is Everyone Else Trying to Do with Me? Do your best not to be paranoid. Or, if this bores you, talk about something else. It’s your thread, after all.
