Open Thread #8: Lurkers Awake!

According to my Cluster Map, I have readers from all over the world. The biggest spots, of course, hang over the United States and Britain. I have tracked other “fans” in a different set of nations: Slovenia, Guatemala, India, Mexico, Oman (hi Nasra), Qatar, Egypt, Germany, the Phillipines, Malaya, Australia, South Africa (hi BPG), Finland (hi Ophelia), France, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Korea, Japan, Canada, and China — to name a few. Then there is the mysterious spot over Kansas and many other little places marked across the map of the United States. So the purpose of this thread is to invite the Lurkers and others to come out of hiding: tell us about your selves! Regulars are welcome to do the same.

You can, of course, talk about anything you want because this is your thread.
