James quoted Marvin Gaye, the great Motown singer who was killed by his father. Marvin might have been bipolar like you (well many of you) and me. I suspect that what might have happened is that Marvin spun off into mania and his father panicked. Police declared that Mr. Gaye Senior acted in self defense.
Which brings me to the point of this brief article: have you noticed that when it comes to a fatal dispute between an unarmed bipolar and a “sane” man with a gun, the guy with the gun always gets off?
