Movable Type Problem

My host’s system crashed and now I no longer get asked if I want to create a thumbnail image after I upload. This is bad, of course, because I run a photoblog from the server.

We have checked the version and it is up to date. We checked the module requirements and installed the one recommended. The problem continues to manifest and I am, naturally, getting quite frustrated with the loss of the function.

What could be causing this? Is there another Perl module which needs to be installed or a setting that the system operator must trip for this to work correctly? Or is it local to my computer?

I need a fix! Please advise here and/or by email.
