Free Republic of Quetzacoatl

Jennifer of Forty Something put me onto a potential addiction: Jennifer’s Government Nation-States. The idea, you see, is that you create a nation and make decisions for it. As author Max Barry puts it:

Jennifer Government: NationStates is a nation simulation game. You create your own country, fashioned after your own ideals, and care for its people. Either that or you deliberately torture them. It’s really up to you.

I started the Free Republic of Quetzacoatl, a “Father Knows Best State” with a low crime rate and high social spending. Our motto is “If You Love Your Country, Give it Your Whole Heart” and we mean that literally.
