Emergency Petition to Security Council

MoveOn asks you to sign a petition addressed to the UN Security Council calling for a peaceful solution to the Iraq crisis. Regardless of what country you come from, your signature is important. This is the largest venture ever undertaken by MoveOn: the organization of people from around the world to speak to the organization that represents all of them.

Wes Boyd notes:

In the next week, the U.N. Security Council will likely meet
to decide on authorizing a war against Iraq. If the Council
votes to accept a second resolution, it’ll be very difficult
to avert a war. But if the resolution doesn’t get enough
votes, it’ll be a major setback for the Bush Administration’s
plans to invade and occupy Iraq.
