The Tracy Dilemna

At what point do you put a beloved animal to sleep? Tracy now spends most of her time laying next to the food bowl. She wet our bed twice yesterday. Her eyes fill up with sticky fluids and I don’t know that she sees very well these days.

I kneel next to her and ask “Is it time? Is it time, little cat? Or should I let you choose the time?”

She feebly purrs her answer to me and I cannot make out what she wants.
