Tracy lurks next to the computer these days, always convinced that I have something that she wants to eat. She whines and claws at my bare arm or, if I happen to be blogging in the nude, my legs.
Long red scratches cross my arms where she’s “nudged” me for a treat.
Today the Slave fought back. When she drove her nails into my arm, I seized her paw and with a pair of fingernail clippers penalized her one claw. She lost four before she got the idea that this was going to happen any time she scratched me. Now she sits on the floor next to the chair and gives me mournful looks.
