The Warrior Queen and Her Consort

For those who don’t know their history: Boadicea is named for a warrior queen who rebelled against Roman rule. A king of the Caledonians described the Roman invasion of Britain thusly: “They create a desolation and call it peace.”

Where have we heard that before?

Diplomatic relations between the kittens and Virginia Mew have been improving. Virginia walked into the bathroom while I was playing with Boadicea and simply stared at her from a distance of about one inch (2.5 centimeters). They exchanged no growls or hisses.

I should send these two to the United Nations as goodwill ambassadors. Except with my luck, Bush would loose his dogs of war and have them assassinated before they could do any real harm to his agenda.
