The Three Best Quizzes Out There

For the record, I don’t take many quizzes seriously. But there are three that I actually respect:

• Belief-O-Matic: Find out what religion suits you best based on your current beliefs. If you feel like you might be in the wrong church or if you are looking for like minds, this quiz might help. (Theravada Buddhist/Unitarian/Liberal Quaker here)
  
• Tolerance.org –> What are your hidden prejudices? There are several tests here that you can take. Do you associate black people with weapons? Do you prefer women over men or vice versa? Do you prefer skinny to fat? etc. (I came out unbiased except when the issue was skinny vs. fat. I tend to prefer skinny people to fat ones. It’s one thing when it comes to sexual attraction, but quite another when the issue is how you deal with others. I’ve got to work on this one.)
  
• Political Compass–> What are your political leanings? Are you as libertarian as you think you are or are you really authoritarian? (This can be cured through therapy.) Where do you fall on a socialist vs. capitalist matrix? (My motto says it all for me.)

I like these three tests because unlike the things you usually see hashed together by people at Quizilla, there’s a scientific/rational basis for the results. You don’t get a cool graphic to put on your page (I admit that I am a sucker for such things), but you will gain understanding.

I’m always interested in hearing the results that others found.
