Bewildering

Now this gets me. Someone is throwing a temper tantrum about something I said about them elsewhere. I won’t say where. They say that I was the same paranoid that I was ten years ago and that they are leaving.

Here’s the strange part: this person remembers me. And I have been trying for two weeks now to remember who he/she is without success!

And they say that I am the one with the obsession?

The impetus for me seems to be to walk out of the situation before he/she DOES brand her/his name on my consciousness!

The other part of me thinks is there no mistake, no matter how small, that I can make that won’t be remembered and held against me for all time?
