Note: This is part of a series based on exercises from A Writer’s Book of Days. It’s something of a rebellion against the Friday Five and similar tupperware content memes.

Today’s topic: Write about a conversation.

I did this on my own yesterday. Later I will write about what I have learned about elephants instead. They talk, in very low tones, beneath the range of the human ear. That’s why they have big ears.

Do you know what you get when you cross an elephant with a rhino?
