Fear of the Fruits of Loathing

Pardon me for my silence, but I’m trying to adjust to a new world where:

• The CIA are filled with good guys who try to stop wars and the staff of the Residency are actively working to undermine it’s efforts
• I’m with the people who are aghast at the shabby treatment our troops are getting from people here at home (thanks to Burningbird for the link)

Our troops belong here, within our borders, prepared to defend our country. They will need medical and psychiatric assistance when they return. The Republican “leadership” seem to be hoping that casualties will reach 100% so that they don’t have to shell out a dime of their precious megafortunes.

There is becoming a greater and greater case in my mind for decapitating the pyramid and replacing the usurper with the eye of justice. Do it legally, legitimately — by free and fair elections.

If there’s the slightest hint of vote-fixing, I warn the Republicans, you will inherit the wind and more. I don’t know that I will want to be around in 2004 if George W. Bush steals the election again as he most certainly did in 2000 and, perhaps, in 2002.

B-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r! It’s a chilling thought! And it may be closer than we think. Which means that nonviolent activists should be preparing NOW to ensure that the election is unfixed or else violent ones will take the lead in removing our most corrupt administration and Congress ever! Don’t let it happen here! Don’t let it happen here!

It can happen here if we don’t act reasonably and with a purpose NOW.

If anyone from the DOJ is reading this, I’ve heard how they’ve screwed up your investigative powers so that you can’t put a stop to terrorism. I’m with you, not against you on this. I know you’re not the ones out to subvert the Constitution.

I hope that some of you are gathering evidence for when the International Criminal Court convenes to try Bush, Cheny, and the whole herd of draft-dodging chicken hawks who are doing this to our people and to the people of Iraq. You will be forever remembered as heroes.

BRING THE TROOPS HOME. GET US OUT OF IRAQ AND EVERYWHERE ELSE.
