Andrea the Shameless Agitator has asked me to interrogate — er — interview her. Five Questions as stated by the rules:

1. Do you see hockey as a ritualized alternative to warfare and violence or is it just an addiction you haven’t figured out how to shake even though you’re pacifist?
   
2. Does blogging about the cruel absurdities of your age help you to cope? Do you sleep better at night because of it?
   
3. Does your writing get along with your photography or do they fight?
   
4. What past experiences inform your pacifism?
   
5. If Fox News gets away with preventing Al Franken from using the phrase “fair and balanced” in the title of his forthcoming book, what trademark would you like to take out? Would you sue me if I used it?
