This image isn’t the best in my gallery, but I thought it would be fitting to use it to mark the Day of the Dead. (My dead are sitting around me watching me type and taking occassional nibbles from the food we have all over the house. Tracy and Ambrose are undoubtably sampling the cat food and checking out the kittens who are now quite large.)
I stop for different things from most photographers and I like to take my time when I walking through a place, seeing all the things that most people miss. All too many hikers rush through the land that the trail passes through, stop to take the Picture, and then rush back. When I have my camera in hand, the tempo of my steps changes. I stop for flowers, rocks, and trees. They only stop for the official photo stops.
This day is described here.
