They were curious, so I picked out a piece from the pasta pot and offered it to them:

Virginia Mew: “Stupid.”

Fiona Phosphor: “I don’t like this string toy. It’s wet and it sticks to the floor.”

Boadicea: “Delicious! Thank you, Daddy!”
