Getting a Gryphon Things

An interesting result because one of my favorite stories is “The Gryphon and the Lesser Curate” whose author escapes me. The gist of the story is that the Gryphon discovers that the one man worth eating is being abused by the village where he lives. So he sets things right for the Lesser Curate and then goes to starve in peace because, after all, though the Lesser Curate is a worthy dinner, the gryphon doesn’t have the heart to eat a good man.

Nor do I.
