I wonder how many Americans attempt to locate an ideal candidate by these means? I wonder how many Americans would discover that they really don’t like George W. Bush? Or, as I discovered here, how much they like Al Sharpton?
I wonder what it would be like if we voted blind like this in the primaries? Then, when the final results were tabulated, if we then voted on the top four or five candidates, then had a run-off between the top two?
This beats selecting candidates based on how they look with their wives or whether they look “presidential”.
On the matter of Sharpton: The only things holding me back are :
I do believe that Sharpton would make a valuable member of any future Democratic administration. He’s matured since the days of his involvement in the Talalah Brawley scandals. I would like to meet the man in person, pick his brain. There’s a good mind there.
One question that was missing from the quiz was what should we do about Iraq now that we are there?
