Overheard on Undernet #political 2

Few things reduce otherwise intelligent people to subcrustacean levels of brain activity like the issue of same sex marriage. Feet fly to the mouth when homophobes attempt to defend the special privileges that have existed for opposite sex couples that have existed in this country since the beginning. I overheard this exchange on Undernet #political* just this evening:

[22:41] <zambeli> kooldawg its not love, its about sex, thats why they call them homosexuals.

[22:42] <Warpster> zambeli, it’s not about love, it’s only about sex, which is why they call them heterosexuals

One of IRC chat’s lower moments followed immediately by one of its choicest — if unbearably obvious — retorts, I think.
