It’s politics Tuesday!

A favorite tactic of the Right is to display photos of people at peace demonstrations carrying outrageous signs. Out of thousands of people, you can rest assured that they will focus on the two or three lunatics or FBI plants who call for terrorism.

I think the peace movement plays it too loose with who they allow to mount the dais and who they allow to march in their parades. It’s a warped version of free speech that does not allow free association, namely the right to keep those who preach violence away from the speaker’s platform.

When I run into such people in peace groups, I ask them “How much is the FBI paying you to be here today?” When a peace association doubletalks on the issue of violence, I walk away from it.

When a peace association or an individual is maliciously accused of wrongdoing, you can count on me for stand up for it.
