We have reached the apogee of summer. From now until December, the days decrease. Here in California the season of renewal has begun: summer’s heat brings the first leaf falls and the withering of the manroot vines.
With winter’s rains, we shall see green press forth from the soil and flowers bloom once more. This straightening of the earth along its axis marks the continuity of the cycle of death and rebirth.
To everyone, I wish a good Summer Solstice and hope in the months ahead.
