What the hell?

In a bad day filled with uncomfortable events (my poor wife dented someone’s car on top of all the other crap — did I mention the bronchitis?), this email from allaboutblog.com nearly tops the charts:

Sigh. What am I to expect in a country where George W. Bush is considered to be the epitome of a Christian man?

Were I to show up at a conservative function, I would undoubtably be shown the door. I am a socialist libertarian as anyone who has looked at my masthead knows. I am a Democrat. I voted for John Kerry. I am married to a Quaker. I approve of Affirmative Action. I do not own a gun. I support the efforts of Amnesty International, the American Civil Liberties Union, Oxfam, the American Friends Service Committee, and MoveOn. And I am an Honorary Lesbian.

The article which led you to class me as a conservative is filed, on my blog, under “Irony and Sarcasm”. You would have known this if you had looked at the article and understood it. Read any other article and you will discover, quite quickly, that my position is decidedly LEFT, though, admittedly, in my own mold.

If you want a reciprocal link, you’d better start by getting me off that page and fast.
