Will Brady passed this on to me in an email that I ignored for a few days. Hard times here and I am finding myself growing up at an awkward age is all I can say for it. Pen in hand, I am facing some of my oldest demons. Life needs fun, even when one is exorcising foul spirits who emulate the living. And so, with thanks to Will, I give you this Book Meme:

You’re stuck inside Fahrenheit 451, which book do you want to be?

Am I stuck inside a conflagration or am I one of those to be preserved and saved inside the minds of a rebel? If the former, I think I would be Dutch, that pseudo-autobiography of Ronald Reagan. If the latter, Catch-22 by Joseph Heller would be a good choice or The Voice That is Great Within Us by Hayden Carruth.

Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character?

I’d marry either Emma Woodhouse or Jane Eyre in a flash.

Under the Wheel by Herman Hesse.

The last book you read:

Arguably, I never really read books due to my short attention span. I have trouble reading my own words at times. So it is a tough call.

What are you currently reading?

This isn’t original, but I’d take four blank books and a good thesaurus or synonym finder.

I think I shall beat gulnaz, Andrea the Shameless Agitator and Mr. Hell’s Kitchen. In all cases because they are intelligent people. In Andrea’s case because she needs to take a break from politics. Go forth and Meme!
