Dream

Posted on April 5, 2006 in Dreams

From my journal: I dream of goats, sir, that I can take in my hand and chew. That is why I dream of.

“I have never heard of such a thing.”

That’s what dreams are about, what we have not heard about.

square325My brother has come to spend time with me (ha!). He wants to sleep with my rabbit. Later, he puts the rabbit back in its cage which is a small, open wooden cube. I go out to get a friend who lives in a very rich house. She and I discuss vacations. I go into my room to fetch an object and hear something rooting around the shoes in my closet. I reach in and pull out my rabbit or so I think.

When I go to place him in his cage, I find my real rabbit there. This rabbit is a little smaller. I look towards a hedge which forms one of the walls of my room and see several similar rabbits hopping about in the bushes. Ah! My little gentleman had been copulating before we had him fixed. These are his children.

I invite my lady friend to see. By the time we get there the lawn has been occupied by gigantic red squirrels and white sheep with twisted horns. One of the sheep comes to me to beg for food. I grab it by the horn so it won’t butt me. When it turns away, I eat half of it, then throw the other half away. It’s no bigger than a walnut when I hold it in my hands.
