I found myself wavering when it came to California’s governor race. The choice was between a sell-out Democrat and a corrupt businessman handpicked by George W. Bush. My eyes went down the baby blue ballot and stayed for a few seconds on the name of the Green Party candidate for governor. I almost punched that hole, but then went back to Gray Davis. I pressed down.
Davis won narrowly. The initiative calling for changes in voter registration lost.
God damn it, Democrats. Where was the get out the vote? You had no vision and therefore no volunteers to help you. Next time, I will join the others who vote Green. You don’t seem to care about the People anymore.
In a moment of weakness, I allowed you to con me out of my conscience.
